Mindee & Laura's Weekend of fun!!
Okay, this past weekend was so awesome!! My wonderful friend Laura and I had been planning to get away for a weekend. We both really needed it! So we planned a weekend in Cincinnati. This is our weekend!
Friday after we both got off work we headed down to the Cincinnatian Hotel. Which is a 4 1/2 star hotel. Very nice! We got checked in and as soon as we got to the room a maid came around to offer turn down service and some fresh, warm cookies. Yum! We decided to stay in for the evening and relax! We ordered in LaRosa's Pizza an watched movies all night! After sleeping in on Sat. morning and waking up and taking showers we put on our big comfy robes and watched another movie.
Then we got ready and went to Panara for lunch. Then the best part of the whole weekend. We went to Tuscany Salon and Spa for 3 hours of Pampering. It all started with a pedicure, then we had a manicure, and then the best massage that I have ever had!! We were in heaven!!
So then we went back to the hotel and got all dressed up and went to dinner at The Cricket Lounge which was in the hotel. The food was awesome!! I can't pronounce what we ate, but it was this pasta dish. To die for!! So good! So we ate and relaxed and listened to the jazz band play. Then on the way to our room we had one of the bellman (Alex) take our picture in front of the stairs going up to our room.
Again, we ralaxed and watched another movie! It was so much fun!! I highly recommend this type of weekend for anyone at least one time a year!! We both had to save our money, but it was worth it!!
